Staker's Halloween Party!!

Kaiden, Skyler Kennington, Kason, Maycee and Skylee.

After the Staker's Halloween party Kaiden went to a party with his friends. Skylee went trick-or-treating with her friend. Megan and Mallary took Kason trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Maycee went to bed early while Joe and I handed out candy. It was a busy night but so much fun!

I love this time of year as the leaves turn colors and the days are cooler.

I just don't love the cold weather that follows.

Back 2 School

It's that time of year when the school shopping is done and summer vacation is over. I enjoy shopping but sad when summer is over.

On the first day of school it's always tradition to take pictures before the kids leave on the bus. Of course, anytime Kaiden gets his picture taken it's like pulling teeth and Skylee loves it! It amazes me how much they grow each year.

It was sad to send the kids out the door. Maycee and I stood on the porch and waved as the bus drove down the road.

This year Kaiden is in 10th grade and Skylee is in the big Jr. High as a 7th grader.

I hope they can learn and grow and build lasting memories throughout this school year!

The Birthday Girl!

Skylee has been planning for months to have a big...

" luau birthday party".
She is so fun, she gets so excited.
When the guests arrived, we had grass skirts and leis ready for them. We had big pink flowers for their hair we let them make.

They were all decked out for the party.

I can't believe my little girl is 12 years old and now in Young Women's. She is growing up too fast for me. I enjoy every minute with her. She brings so much joy and happiness to our family and she is a great example to everyone around her.
